Robert - Amanda - Molly - Gary - Bleach

Meet THE CLARENCES, a melody driven, power pop rock band hailing from Oakland, California. This 5 member band blends basses, drums, glockenspiels, guitars, keyboards, percussion, synthesizers, tambourines and vocal harmonies. THE CLARENCES offer a fresh perspective on the often formulaic pop band routine. Their music and stage show is lively, sometimes silly and always rocking.

Members include: Robert A. Medeiros (guitars, keyboards & vocals), Amanda White (glockenspiels, keyboards, tambourines & vocals), Molly Blue (keyboards, synthesizers & vocals), Gary Delucchi (basses & vocals) and Bill Leach a.k.a. "Bleach" (drums, percussion & vocals).

Robert A. Medeiros, a self taught musician whose early influences include 70's cartoon theme songs and the music of NFL Films, formed THE CLARENCES in 2006 as a studio band. Amanda White, who at age 4, began entertaining crowds as a cheerleading mascot, joined the ranks shortly thereafter in 2006. THE CLARENCES began performing live in 2007. Later that year, Molly Blue, who has a degree in opera and years of experience in musical theater, and Gary Delucchi, the band’s audio and recording whiz, joined the band. The final spoke in THE CLARENCES wheel is Bill Leach, a.k.a "BLEACH", a teacher of cartooning and design who has played in numerous pop bands and even a disco band in the 1970's.

Together, THE CLARENCES believe there is one thing that will never let you down, and that’s ‘Rock ‘N Roll’!
